15 Restaurants Open for Thanksgiving in 2023

Many employees are traveling over Thanksgiving for work this year and are unable to be with their friends and family. But they still have to eat! So which restaurants are open this Thanksgiving near you this year? Here’s our 2023 Thanksgiving restaurant guide for delicious restaurants that will be serving traditional Thanksgiving entrees with all the trimmings, or just their everyday delicious signature dishes.

1.Golden Corral

Not only is Golden Corral open, but each year they put together a full Thanksgiving spread with turkey, pie, and all the trimmings, which you can also get to-go and enjoy at your hotel.

2. Eddie V’s

For a luxe Thanksgiving dinner experience, make reservations at Eddie V's. Their impressive menu includes slow-roasted turkey, roasted butternut squash, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie tartlet.

3.Buca di Beppo

The celebrity-friendly Italian restaurant will have a special Thanksgiving menu, but be sure to make reservations on their website ahead of time.

4. Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses

With locations throughout the U.S., you’re sure to find one serving a Thanksgiving buffet of roasted turkey, baked ham, fried chicken, meatloaf, shrimp, mac-and-cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, fresh baked rolls, and dessert. They also offer to-go platters starting at $12.

5.Ruby Tuesday

Most locations will be open on Thanksgiving Day for both dine-in and to-go orders. Be sure to call ahead and/or make reservations if you can!

6. Capital Grille

Place an order or make a reservation for a special chef-prepared dinner of Turkey with Brioche stuffing, French green beans with Marcona almonds, cranberry-pear chutney and mashed potatoes. Don't forget the Pumpkin Cheesecake!

7.Applebee’s

Select Applebee's restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving and will serve a special holiday menu. Others will have limited hours. Call your location directly for details.

8. Bob Evans

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every Thanksgiving. Complete your feast with a Holiday Celebration platter of slow-roasted turkey or hickory-smoked ham.

9. Cracker Barrel

Thanksgiving is Cracker Barrel's busiest day of the year. On Thanksgiving Day, every location is open during regular hours (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) preparing dine-in meals as well as several carryout options. Try the Homestyle Turkey n' Dressing Meal, or mix it up and go for the Country-Fried Turkey and Loaded Mashed Potatoes.

10. Ruth’s Chris Steak House

The famous steak house will have a special holiday feast on offer, along with their traditional menu. Not all locations will be open, so check their website for details.

11. Seasons 52

The menu at Seasons 52 focuses on peak-season ingredients and includes oven-roasted turkey, cranberry relish, mashed butternut squash, and a mini pumpkin pie dessert, among other sides. They also offer a Green Box dinner that serves four to six if you'd rather stay at the hotel.

12. STK Steakhouse

STK Steakhouses nationwide will be open on Thanksgiving, with their signature steaks, hearty sides, and more. The only catch? You must make a reservation in advance!

13. Fleming’s

There will be a three-course menu offered, with a choice of turkey breast or filet mignon as the main course. Rather dine at home or your hotel? You can pick it up or have it delivered too. Most locations will be open from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

14. Fogo de Chão

The Brazilian steakhouse will be open from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with new and traditional offerings like roasted turkey au jus, sweet potato casserole, Brazilian sausage, and apple dressing. Be sure to make a reservation in advance. If you want to dine at your hotel, pick up the Thanksgiving Celebration To-Go Package. The meal serves six—you just need to reheat it at the hotel.

15.Metro Diner  

Metro Diner has you covered whether you want to dine in or take it to go. Choose from specials like the Stuffing Waffle with Turkey, the Sausage & Gravy Chicken Tenders Waffle, or a more traditional holiday dinner. Be sure to get there early though, locations are only open until 2:30 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
